The Claremont Centaurs Complete Their First

Collegiate Season

  • For the first time ever at the Claremont
  • Colleges, the collegiate division of the Roller Hockey Club known as the Claremont Centaurs has completed their much anticipated season as part of the Western Collegiate Roller Hockey League. Playing against teams from larger, more athletically diverse schools such as UCSD and USC, the Centaurs were able rack up a staggering one win.

The Claremont Centaurs had a rough start to the season, coach-less and lacking discipline. Losing their first six games, the team decided in a players only meeting that a change was needed. As a result of that meeting, the Centaurs lit a flame within them that would last for the rest of the season. Shortly after, Patrick Little was named head coach of the Centaurs. With years of competitive hockey experience and proven methods for developing young talent, his impact was immediately noticed prompting league officials to mention that they have never seen a team improve as fast as the Centaurs. Coach Little brings a new level of commitment and direction to the team, one that will inspire the Centaurs to many successful seasons.
